OKG AB extends its food service contract with Eurest. OKG presently has approximately 870 employees, and the plant is located on the Swedish east coast, 30 kilometers north of Oskarshamn. With the renewed contract Eurest will provide food service solutions containing restaurant, coffee service and catering, as well as delivery of food service to 3 restaurants outside the premises of OKG.

However, in December 2002 OKG choosed another food service supplier, but after a year and a half, in May 2004 we had the opportunity to retrieve the cooperation. We have during the 5 years since, worked goal-oriented to secure we deliver what OKG requires, in a professional and efficient way. Eurest has during the spring delivered added food service solutions to OKG as 1800 extra employees has been working with one of the largest nuclear modernization projects in the world: Puls – Power Uprate with Licensed Safety. During 90 days the 1800 extra people has been working day and night with the project, and Eurest has managed to provide food service solutions to them all, including OKG ordinary staff.  Another challenge awaits in August when a further project starts, this time involving 1000 extra employees at OKG.
