A cookie is a small data file that is stored on your computer. We use two kinds of cookies: session cookies and so-called fixed cookies.
If you do not want to permit the storage of cookies on your computer, you can disable this option in your web browser’s security settings. No cookies will then be stored on your computer, but nor will you be able to use certain functions on our website and other websites.
You can also define a setting that alerts you every time a cookie appears and decide in each individual case whether or not you want to permit the cookie.
Session cookies
On our website we mainly use session cookies. They help us to keep track of and recognise your web browser.
Session cookies are not stored permanently on your computer, but disappear when you close your web browser.
Fixed cookies
We also use so-called fixed cookies. This is a small file that enables the website to recognise you when you make a return visit. The cookie stores information so that, for example, certain messages are only displayed once.
Fixed cookies are stored on your computer and must be deleted manually.
